2010 Renegade 800 Vs 2010 Crossfire 800

So this year I logged about 1800 miles on my Renegade 800 X. I loved the sled, and other than the coolant issues, it was great to me. So at the end of the season, i had a bit of a mishap and..well... lets just say Im looking for a new ride for next winter. Now after i got my sled, a number of my group added renegades to their arsenal. Perhaps I have snowmobile a.d.d and perhaps I just dont want to have the same sled as everyone else but I have been looking around.

The new Crossfire 800 caught my eye. the motor is very strong and unique with it's use of 4 spark plugs. The chassis is proven and people love them for sure. I wanted the 1.5" cobra track anyway, which come stock. And i like that the Fox floats also come stock. Add in the new seat and nice gauges that come with the spring check model and it looks pretty hot.

So why should I get the cat? My biggest question is how the rear ski handles when riding very aggressive through trails. Since its not coupled and all.

Real world experiences are most appreciated.

The sled handles great on trails, when we are on the trails which is very seldom we ride extremely hard. There are 4 crossfires in our group and everyone loves them. They also handle amazing off trail especially with the sway bar off. I took mine off and didnt really notice too much difference on trail. Go with the 2010 crossfire 800 sp le you will love it!

you can put the coupler blocks on if that's something you want, the holes are all there
