They must not be planning on alot of sales this year.
I had a chance to put 30 miles on the Demo 2010 M8 HCR 153 in about 1 1/2 feet of powder at about 5400 ft. The O8 has a M1000 suit case exhaust can. I took it off and installed the MBRP can from my M1000.
All I can say is that If anyone is going to buy this sled they are going to very
happy. The thing absolutely rips. The clutching is perfect. Touch the throttle anywhere in its RPM range and the sled responds instantly. I've never driven a factory sled that ran this good from stock. I own a 2008 & 2009
M1000 and am feeling a little bummed out that my sleds don't even feel that they are is the same league. I hope for AC that all of the M8 units that come out of the crates this fall run like this one.
I can't believe that the factory can come out with a sled like this M8 and won't spend the time and solve the clutching and fuel mapping issues with the M1000's. If they would deal with the issues of the M1000, AC would have the Mountain sled market in their hands. The M8 is awsome and the M1000 could be, I hope the current economy doesn't hurt their sales to bad.
maybe I'm missing something but the m8 is 13000 and the hcr is 14500.
thats 1500 for a wider ski stance, titanium springs up front, and I think the same track but stiffer on the hcr. Is that worth it, or am I missing something else? I think the snopro sounds better at 13800.
Yeah man, I can go buy a used 06 Mustang GT for the price of a new M10. Waaaay to hard to ever justify buying new...at least for me. Maybe in 2012 I can get a '10 M8....sigh.
