2010 polaris

Give the sled a chance. Im sure the first sled with trailing arms looked dorky to those with leaf springs too. After all Its a snowmobile and that means its cool.

i don't doubt the engineering of it, but at first glance you've got to admit it looks strange. most everything takes getting used to.

I saw the sled in person the other night. It actually looks pretty sharp. That side view is weird. But from the front it looked good to me. The rear suspension will take a little getting used to in the looks department.

It's a flatland only version for next year but I was assured that the new bulkhead will accept any motor and tunnel configuration they want to throw at it.

Just first look I don't see any rush to turn it into MTN applications. Looks use specific SNOW-X to go through the bumps faster. Maybe some application for the RMSHA boys, but the approach angle looks the same and it doesn't look like it would be lighter than a standard rear skid? Would kinda be like longtacking the Twin Spar chassis, you could do it, but WHY???

That thing would bury you in snow..........not to mention cooling issues I would think with such a small exchanger.

You would have to come up with some kind of track cover like the 2Moto's have.

Whats the point it the funky rear suspension? Can't be any weight savings there with all those levers to run up to the shock.

Looks like a mix between a Redline (when they tried to make a sled), a snow hawk and an XP if you ask me. As long as it is functional who cares how it looks right?

Not to worry about cooling issues... with that gas tank you will run out of gas right about the time you overheat !

That would make the baddest arse roost ever!! I kind of like it, less tunnel- less high centered in deep climbs maybe?? Front end is a way improved look over recent years....IMO.
