2010 Maverick track...any better/stiffer?

What's the verdict on the Maverick track that Yamaha supposedly over hauled to fix it's down falls? Did they stiffen it up enough to help and what's your opinions thus far?

So far, non boosted it seems to be working well! Tips folded over a little but havent gotten any worse..

Rumor has it that Yamaha will have a fourstroke specific track for 2011 with angled lugs that will channel the snow under the sled. Supposedly this new design will take advantage of the fourstroke power delivery and reduce trenching by directing the snow in a way as to support the weight of the sled. If this is true, then the Maverick may be long forgotten by this time next year.

i was told when 2010's were released that the maverick actually wasn;t changed, info came from a dealer.

totally changed..........90 durometer and single ply....it works very well in the pow.

comparisons

How does it compare to the PowerClaw...lighter....easier to turn or similar....also how does it get up on the snow...better for firmer snow or sugar powder....appreciate the info!:beer;

other than being to soft when i had the maverick on my apex i found it to be a very versatile track, works decent in springtime and powder but in powder it does not have the large surface area paddles like the camo extreme so it comes up short to the camo extreme. I think soft spring/lite powder snow is where the maverick would excel.

2010 is still too floppy. Better than the older Mav but still not that great.
Yami should have made the Nytro MTX available with option of the camo extreme 2.5"

I've got about 100 miles on my 2010 nytro and the track still sucks. The track is way to soft for snow in Alaska. My lugs were folded over before I even got the sled of the trailer. The first thing I am going to do is switch to the challanger or power claw.

ive got 175 miles on my '10 and the lugs arnt near are folded as some 08-09 tracks. my buddy flipped his around backwards and man did it hook. braking was a little sketchy!
