New to the turbo sled. Just putting the kit on the sled now Thinking of running around 10 to 12 pounds of boost. Ride most of the time out at Cooke, so need to run race gas. Was wondering if i have to run strait or can i blend it with some pump? Also is all race fuel the same, meaning is one brand better than the other?

Sorry, I sent my 2010 head to shain to have him open it up. Also thinking of doing a cai and wrapping the pipe.

I run 9 psi with Shains kit gt2876 turbo. He suggested I run straight 100 octane. I tried running 50/50 and hit det. Once. I ride Cooke as well.

I ride cook too, last time I was there I ran 70% 100LL and 30% 91 @10 lbs. I also have egts and never seen anything over 1200. I also have the bd timing module.

If you run over 10 lbs run straight avgas

My gauge is hard to read but it bounces around 10-11 psi at WOT with straight avgas running 4-8K. Shain advised me not to run anything under straight AVgas above 9 psi.
