2010 m8 secondary sheaving/bogging reverse

So when in reverse the belt sheaves into the secondary a LOT, bogs sled right down, is this a issue with the helix and spring or sliders or am I looking at a bigger issue with diamond drive? Put the sled on its side and spun the track both ways and never seemed to pile up at all... Just bought the sled and don't know a thig about the diamond drive and such...

I would guess that you have:

A. A torsional conversion kit in the secondary OR
B. A 2007-2008 Helix without the reverse notch.

Both will cause the belt to suck into the secondary and bog in reverse.

A. What is the torsional conversion kit do? And how do I tell that's what's in there?

B. where would the notch be if it's the wrong helix?

Thanks!

Should state sled seems perfectly normal forwards, engages 4100ish and pulls fine right thru rpms.

You have a non notched helix. You need to get one with a notch in order for reverse to work properly and to avoid unnecessary belt wear.

Why is that on a 2010?

Call the guy you bought that from and see if he has the one it came with.
