2010 m8 hcr

Im so freakin stoked I just picked up my new 2010 HCR today, Its my first brand new sled and first M sled and just had to tell everyone, I CANT WAIT TILL IT SNOWS!!!!!!!!!!:D

Nice

Congrats on your purchase. The 09 hcr I have is the best sled I'v ever owned. I can't wait to hear good reports on the extra ponies on the 2010's. I'm debating to run slp pipe kit, and kinz hood this year. See you out there. Tim

Congrats on the HCR

Congrats on the new HCR.
It will be interesting to see how the new 800ho runs out.
Speedwerx says 152 h.p. on their dyno. Dynotech claims higher, but they usually are.
The 2009 responds pretty well to pipe and can. They ran fat, so with the right pipe can and head, you can get by without adding fuel.
Rode an 09 HCR with SLP pipe& can and RKTek head. It ripped pretty good.
Just remember for us Alaska boys, sea level makes a difference on all the aftermarket claims of H.P.gains. Talk to a few people and do your research before spending your money on mods. From what I've seen, Kelsey at RKtek has done his homework and has a good product.

Now where's that snow????

Congrats man!!!:beer; I'm gonna be taking a close look at the 2010's this winter on the hill. Could be time to upgrade.

Sweet ride. I just picked up my 2010 crossfire 800 snopro. Put a powerclaw track on it and some powder pro skis. Now I just need some snow! The 2010 crossfires come stock with a straight 40 helix for low elevation. I'm going to give it a try.

Congrats man..Im in the same boat. I have had three new xfires and finally jumped up to the M Cant wait to try the HCR out. I got to ride a 09 for a day off trail last April and had a blast. Im hooked on the boone docking type stuff and now I have a sled that should perform pretty well.

clutching

What clutching will you be running at sea level on your new HCR? I have one coming and I'm in WI.

Im riding around 2000ft at home with my 2010 HCR, I just installed 73g primary weights leaving the 36 degree helix, Im hoping it will pull these weights.
It calls for 71.5g with a 40 degree helix for 0-3000ft, so if I leave the helix at a 36 degree, Im sure it will pull these 73g
Going for a ride this weekend, Ill let you know how it goes.
some of the best clutching setups I have tried have simply been to add weight to the primary clutch
I had a RKT kit on my 2009 M8 and took it off, not a fan, not a fan at all!

Im running 71.5g weights and the 36 degree helix, orange/white primary and orange secondary and i really like the way it pulls. I ride at 0-3000 and it pulls 8150-8200, so i think the 73g might be a little heavy but you never know till you try.

Hcr

I just got one last week and now i am in Wy testing it out, the new 800 Rips, aim where you want to go and hold on, it hooks up so good, if it was a little heaver snow you could go forever, you will enjoy that sled alot :D

I realy love it, It has a great sound, nice quiet tone on the bottom to mid range then it gets really throughty on the last quarter throttle. Saved 16.5 lbs, and the fit is rather well. I didnt loose any power(maintained RPM all the way through) But i dont think i gained any. But the lose in weight makes up for it all. The only thing i dont like about it was the price, but you get what you pay for and I think in the end it was worth it.
