Running 6lbs of boost with 92 octane, mixed with about a gallon of C112 as well. Riding in about 3 Ft of powder this past weekend and when going downhill it would barely run (blocked exhaust I assumed) but it still did it even on the trail coming out of the Mtns. at the end of the day?! It was my first time out with the turbo on this sled, totally new to this for me. Any ideas as to what it might be?

Altitude?

Being that you're mixing a full gallon of 112 in your tank I'd assume you're much lower than we are around here (we can run 9 [si on pump & around 11.5 on a gallon of 112). Dale's starting numbers are intended for high(ish) altitude, which may mean you simply need to tune a bit. We didn't have to tune from 7k to 13k on ours, but hard to say how it would run much lower.

If you're not comfortable with tuning, maybe ask if there's someone near you that is solid with the attitude box, it's pretty easy to work with. Hard to diagnose a bog like that online.

dealer set up using CPC's starting numbers for 9000' tested it at around 3100' and said it was bang on. I'd say we were around 5000' then and it was about -4 degrees Celcius. Fuel pressure was set around 28 at the shop bc they said the 32 or 36 psi setting is way too rich. I know I'm asking a lot, just want to get as much info I can. Thanks for the responses

I'm no supertuner, but I've never seen one set to 28 before... seems WAY low.

we run 36-42 in the different ones I've been around. (high altitude)

How does it idle?

If you change the PSI, the fuel map will need to change as well, keep that in mind.

Ive got same issues, than found out today from trav at ovs, it needs a 22k resistor installed for the air temp, otherwise if u leave the stock sensor in and it gets moisture on it the sled mapping freaks out, I'm gonna do mine tomorrow.

Where did Jay or Dale at Cuttler's tell you to run it? 3 cuttler's that I ride with and all of them are usually right around 40 too. Mine runs pretty much right there as well at 6000-9000ft. Again no supertuner, so call Cuttler's again and make sure he said 28psi.

I ride 6000-8000 feet and I have mine set at 41 PSI at about 6000 feet of elevation. It will change with elevation. Down at parking lot level it sits around 44 PSI. Set your Fuel pressure when you get to your riding elevation. 28 is way too low. If I'm not mistaken, 28 is low on a stock sled.

Have you contacted Cutler yet?

38 seems to be the magic # for fuel pressure but like stated above id call and double check that

Sorry guys, my bad, just went out and fired it up.... at idle its sitting at 32 psi but my A/F gauge is all the way in the red(lean) think we're around 2300' in town here. I haven't called yet, was going to talk to my dealer first

Good to hear. If your dealer has set up a few give him a call but if this is his first tubo setup I would seriously call Jay at Cuttler's and just run stuff by him. He is very eager to see their product work like it should and you will learn other things about your setup by just listening to him.

During the days ride, I was seeing numbers around 12.5 - 15.0 on the A/R at low and mid range. Wide open was right around 12.3 - 11.7 which I think should be bang on at WOT. Still learning how to play with the throttle to help prevent it going super lean when hard on the throttle and just let go of it the way you can on N/A motors.

cutlers web instrutions call for 38, psi, ovs 41/42 psi, my 8 stalls anything lower than 38

Just got off the phone with my dealer, gonna bump my fuel to 34psi and put my boost up to 7lbs. Only add maybe 1 liter of C112 to the next tank of fuel and adjust my green and yellow settings a bit richer. Try that I guess

I would agree, the Attitude boxes coning directly from Cutler's are set for higher elevations, even at 5,000' mine was doing the same thing, my riding is from 5 - 9,000' but anything lower required me to adjust my control down, try that but in small increments, I usuall notch down one-half for each setting when tuning, we all need to remember that checking the piston wash is the bullet proof way of tunning our sleds.

For the pain it is, it's always worth the effort of pulling the pipe and plugs when unsure of either being rich or lean and checking for proper piston wash.

So I tried to run my system at 35psi...... a terrible day in the mtns:face-icon-small-fro Ran so rich the gas fumes almost burned my eyes!!! turned it back down to 32psi and was a happy camper again, 7lbs of boost and it ran strong. Still need to figure out the slight bog at low rpm but that should work itself out now that I put a snorkle kit on and got the air filter outside the hood and get some nice cold air into it!!

i have a engagment bog as well, im at 4000' runnin 100ll, my fuel psi is 41, i tried low settings for my green mode and it bogs, i increased the green to 7 and the bog is practicaly gone, i also set my yello/ blu to .5 to switch my grn to yellow quicker. my bog would send me over the bars at times. when the bog happens the afr would go from 14.5 to full lean.

What kind of boost are you running to be using that kind of fuel?? I'm just running 91 oct with maybe 1-2 litres of C112 to be totally safe at 7lbs. Not sure that this could be a factor to your bog, as I'm no where near an expert on turbos!!
