2010 M-8 rear suspension

I'm going to try a Fett Bros canister http://www.fettbrosperformance.com/store/proddetail.asp?prod=AIRC2E&cat=33on the rear fox on mine. Sold my 08 m10 and bought 2010 m8. I really didn't like the rear suspension on the m10 and don't see any difference in the 2010 models. Have read that the rear shock needs revalved but thought I would try the extra air chamber first. About $67. Not too bad if it works. Can always do the revalve later. Have also read that the front fox floats work much better with the canisters.

The shocks need to be revalved. They are junk from the factory and not even built to FOX spec. AC does their own thing with them. Send them to Andy Youngstrom at Gas Shock Repair. I did but have not ridden it yet, but in the garage it already feels better than stock and actually returns like it should.

I am happy with the kits both on my 08 m-1000 and 09 M8 Sno pro. Put them both on at the end of last year so was not able to get them perfect yet but close. I went to the 43 in stance as well, and although we don't ride trails much it is an added bonus to the performance of the shocks on the stability side. I chose the fully adjustable kit. Honeslty was a good buy I think. I am going to tweak more ASAP. Tyler was helpful but if you do order since they are built to your specs, when you buy allow for 3-4 weeks to get them. If he promises two hold them to it on the finacial side. I.E. the longer it takes the cheaper they should be passed the promise date.

sucks??? where?? on the trail?? i dont uderstand there is a reason it didnt get changed it works if it is rough on the trail go faster or get in the pow
I also installed the fett brothers canister on both the two front floats and the rear one a few weeks ago. Hope it softens the initial stroke up some
What issue is that? Haven't seen it yet!

Don't think it's any secret that the rear suspension sucks. My m1 actually went up and down under my ***. The fox float is like riding a board. I'd rather have a 04 skid under my butt than the new one. Don't care that it is lighter. Cat should do something about the shocks. Why should we have to send them to somebody to have them revalved? Cat needs to recall them or revalve before they put em on. Can't ride powder all the time.
