2010 LE pics from todays show

pics of the new crossfire le (didnt have a M le sled there..just the regular m snowpro and since i ordered a crossfire i kinda focused on that sled)

a couple questions:
is the tunnel powder coated or painted? anyone know how durable the black finish is as far as scuffs and scratches?

why do the xfires and the m's have the tunnel cut out over the coolers?

the new seat fits like a golve on the M sled but on the crossfire it doesnt fit good at all where the seat and tank meet. if they dont change that its gonna beat the crap out of your legs.

the seat storage is huge, and gonna be great.

Black Tunnel

I have an '08 M1000 Nightfire all black tunnel. Tunnel color staying OK but AC uses CHEAP black painted rivets that start to show the silver in about 3-4 rides. Really makes the sled look CHEAP!! They would have been better off using all silver rivets for a contrast OR use BLACK ANODIZED rivets like Polaris has used. I would have gladly paid the extra $5.00 for the anodized rivets.

I really wanted the LE, but after seeing it this weekend I thought the hood looked really crappy. The sled is nice, I like the black, but the hood looked cheesy.

Ordered a White M8 153 SP instead

Hey i think the hood looks cheesy too that little peice of digital camo on top of the hood looks ugly like it is not ment to be there. Everything else looks awsome though.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm not a big fan of all black sleds. Better wear some bright clothes or other peeps will not see you. Can be a safety issue in the wrong terrain. And if you're stuck in the timber and slightly misplaced .. your on your own!

Had a dark sled one year with a brown coat, black helmet ... never again.

Dont know about you MUZ but nothin on that sled makes me giddy.

I go out to my garage..look at my 1000 and smile..come back in the house...look at my old lady..and go back out to my garage...lol plus that seat looks like someone hacked off chunk of cheese and glued to the tunnel.

This is a crossfire...the 08 crossfires had zero pros not floats and a skid simular to 05-07 m's but 5 1/2 inch rear boogies. I see how you can mistake it for an 08 m skid.

Haven't seen one if person yet! IF you removed the decals from the hood would it be shinny black or flat black?

You know, in the tradition of the 04 Fighter FireCats.

I just like my 09 LE so much I cant bring myself to peel it yet.

had a buddie a couple of years ago on a black 05 M7 get stuck in a field next to a tree, could hear him yelling but could not find him. the glare from the snow made his black sled melt right in with the tree...
