2010 IQ D800 Air Flter?

If anything i would pull out you airbox and tape the seams. I did mine with chrome heat tape. and then buy another dash vent from skins or something and install.

Deffinately take the air box off and seal it , for some reason there is a pre fabbed hole along both sides of the throttle body seals and the one closest to the clutch draws in a bunch of belt dust from the clutches . I plugged both holes with plastic darts , put a thin piece of rubber under the air box also , the tunnel rubs really hard on it and wears the air box thin. Also secure the top plate on the inside of the air box , it vibrates and eventually to the point that you can hear it when the hood is up and engine running. I plastic welded a filter and precleaner to the top of the air box, in good snow conditions or even trailoring snow gets in the air box , had to modify the hood also. Word has it that the 2010 was actually a better air box.

i dont have the 3rd dash vent, i think the 2 and the rest of the air gaps are sufficient enough IMO. Like he said there is a hole just above each TB i just put tape over it and also put a piece of rubber(not to thick or your box wont slide back on your TBs) under the airbox cause in 300 short kms there was almost a hole chaffed through. So pull your fuel filter and line out of the bracket thats holding it, dont take the bracket off, it just makes re-installing the airbox harder, undo the TB clamps and with a long flat head wiggle the airbox back off the TBs, pull up and out she comes. Youll see how the airbox is just clipped together allowing hot air dust and whatever else to get in and through your motor, seal it all the way around. when re-installing make sure the rubber holder thatholds the back of the airbox is tied up to something so its not suck under the box. hope this makes sence, looks like a pain in the azz to do but its really quit easy
