The warmer on my left grip was fubar'd so I broke down and bought the expensive Yammy ones, at least they plugged right into the existing wiring! On our ride yesterday it was a wee chilly, in that -10/-12 and a wind chill factor at 60mph who knows what it was! Anyways, as a test, I left the stock warmer on the right and new one on the left. The new warmers are at least twice as warm as the 08's, real nice and toasty while the other hand had numb fingers! Expensive yes but, warm hands are worth the cost! Sherm

I also put them on my 2008 the are way better. Call Cycle town in hermiston oregon they will fix you up.

I don't know if they're in the catalog or not. I'm not sure if the RSI ones have the foam backing that the Yammy's do, part of the reason why they are warmer I guess..........Sherm

so what are the expensive ones worth, I bought the yamma heater system of a guy on here for a couple hundred and it supposed to fix the cold hands prob. I havnt had a chance to test it out yet but everyone says it works really well.

Seventy bucks a side and also twenty bucks for new grips. But, the new grips I got are alot softer and much easier to hang on to than the old hard skinny grips..........Sherm
