2010 dragon 800 iq plugs

hey guys i am new to the forum. i got a 2010 dragon 800 iq i has it studded and a mbrp pipe.. my top speed is only 109mph is this normal? how can i get more speed? also she is blowing plugs fast what is a good kind of plug to use for best performance and long lasting? thanks in advance guys

i am running br9es and seems like when i put her to the bar she will hisitate for a few seconds before she takes off and i dont like that. i am pretty sure my problem is plugs she sputts on top end as well

thats because the br9es is not the right plug for that sled. if you want to run ngk's you must waste your money on the bpr9eix's or just run the bpr9es it is very important you get the bPr9es's though because the head is designed for a pretruded plug

plugs

I just ran the NGK's last weekend cause everyone says their good plugs, after I had already been running the stock champions RN57YCC that it came with. Once I had installed teh NGK I could instatntly tell that it didnt idle quite as smooth, and after riding for the day, I noticed that I had lost about 100 to 150 rpms, I also noticed the engine didnt run as crisp either. I was reading a thread on here the other day about plugs and noticed that polaris engineer their motors and dynos them with teh Champion plug and alot of other people that had made posts on that thread said the same thing, that their sleds ran crappier with the NGK's. My sled ran much better with the champions and I have already put them back in.

wow, anyone else chime in here on the 'champion vs NGK' debate?

I know that in the old 4.0L Jeeps, for some unknown reason, they liked that champion plug better, but that was the ONLY thing I'd run a champion in. Maybe I need to add my D8 to that short list??????

I took the Champions out the moment the sled hit my garage and put in some NGKs. maybe that was a mistake.

Anyone else have any personal experience and feedback they'd like to share? - I'd be mighty grateful....

I bought NGK as spares. figured I'd run the stock plugs until they burnt out or at least thru breakin, no need to ruin new NGKs after all. I had a hesitation issue, changed out plugs and fixed it. I didn't notice difference in idle, or running.
