:thumb:Hey as of now im riding a 1999 rmk 700 which i rebuilt everything on but its only got a 136 an the chassis rides like ***, however at the local polaris dealer they got left over stock of dragons for 10000 . regular price is 13500-14000. would you guys recomend buying this or waiting till the pros come down in price? only thing im worried about is engine failure and i do like the appearence of the iq vs the pro. thanks for your opinions clayton :thumb:

oh an we got a ridicoulous amount of snow latly 20 cm one day got another 20 coming withing next 2 weeks. trenching everywhere with the ol 700!!! Winter has finally hit here!!

Not sure where you're at, but here in Kamloops I just bought a new '10 Dragon 800 for 9g (plus the freight pdi etc but I'm sure they gonna ding you that there too).

alberta whats pdi? dealership said theve had good luck with the new update never had anyback yet. theyve sold over 60 sleds this winter mostly pros

Grande prairire alberta if it helps, if you dont mind ho wmuch more did you end up paying over retail. all said an done?

Figured Grande Prairie, nice town, go there several times a year to visit family :face-icon-small-hap, left some $$ behind at the Harley dealer as well hahaha.
All in with tax it was $10,640.00, so that's paying the extra 7% tax, you'd be a shade under 10g .

nice bike! its funny the dealer in town wants 1000 more than the one 15 min out in beaverlodge.

Nope, tax breakdown is 7% pst and 5% gst, which is all you guys pay over there, 5%. We have the HST now which is just a fancy way of saying you pay 12% on everything so shut up and fork over your money lol.
Thanks, ya I love the bike, she's a fun ride :face-icon-small-hap.
Yup same here, sled at a dealer 2 hrs down the road is $1000 more lol, so decided to shop local !

Read up on more of the threads on here. These things have their fair share of problems. I'm not trying to be negative, but your money probably doesn't come easy. If you are sold on Polaris I would wait for the Pro to come down in price.

we just got record snow fall here and my crank just came apart on my rmk700 theres absalutly nothing good for used right now ..... missing out is giving me the itch i havent taken a loan out befor eim 18 lol

Hey guys,
I have a 08 700 dragon, have never heard of anybody having any problems with the 700's and there only like 12 HP less than the 800's, pipe and muffler fixes that. many of my friends had the 09 and 10 800's and had issues with them. I would think they have them figured out by now, and it would be a great improvement from your 1999. I'm not in Canada but that price seems steep to me.

its canadien pricing lol

Hey cbc you only go around once, might as well get what you want. You can get a used 08/10 700 or 800 for $7500 if you shop around here in Alberta. All the negative talk has really made them hard to sell, check Kijiji in Edmonton there are lots for sale. That being said, if I were buying one I would get the Pro and not look back. Good luck!!!

I've been working on mine since it past 600 miles, it has almost 2800 on it now. The final straw for me was Sunday when the crank broke. I love the chassis but these motor issues suck ***!
