2010 Dodge 2500, anyone running one yet?

buddy stopped by the house today with a 2010 Ram 2500 with the hemi. i am FAR from being a dodge guy....but this thing is the real deal. power was great for such a tank of a truck. my dad has the new platinum edition ford, i thought i would never see an interior as nice as that. but that new dodge is....a thing of beauty. and comfortable! never woulda thought i would say that about a dodge's seats! had an 07 mega cab 1 ton.....nuff said.
im running a chev now and i am dabbling in the new truck market. i would opt for the Power Wagon. not into diesels...
anyone have one? what do you think so far? any pics? i hate the pics they have on the website...never do the thing justice...

EXACTLY what i said. and thats after rebates. i still may pull the trigger. i only know one person who has one and he has had it a matter of 5 days. and i have only been in one for 20 minutes. just looking to see if there are any news on them, how they are holding up, how the owners are feeling after spending the cake. ive been to some other forums including some dodge ones and not much info. they are still new and i usually stay away from the first year models but i have the itch...

A guy has had one for a few weeks on CumminsForum. already has wheels and tires which made it look 5x better. Im gonna talk my dad into getting a megacab dually this spring.

It is a dodge the cab will rattle. The lights will fluctuate brightness as you are driving, and the vents will break in two months. But it will run like a raped ape. Dodge has its quirks and I don't think they ever will get rid of them. But i love my dodge and hate my dads ford.

the lights only fluctuate brightness til you get above 20mph, they only do it because the grid heater is still cycling.


vents breaking? huh? are you talking about the recirc door thing?

The lights dim because the load on the alternator is pretty big from the grid heater. No glow plugs on a Cummins....

The cab rattling? mmmmm, no. Mine's quiet (MegaCab).

Still waiting for the heater door to break, though.

I have a 2008 Mega Cab Hemi, and I don't have any of those problems.

Sorry to hi-jack your 2010 thread...I just hate when one guy has a couple problems and they think that every Dodge has the same ones! There is not a perfect truck made, but I love my Dodge.

no worries....thats a nice truck! BTW i really dont like dodge. we run them at our shop and i had a 07 megacab 1 ton diesel. i HATED this truck with all my might. when i miled it out i couldnt be happier. the seats were terrible!!! but this new dodge is ten times the truck...so far from what i have seen. i was so impressed by all the changes that i am considering dodge again. they all make junk, its which junk do you prefere to run....lol

Wow, could this be the Dodge that makes me switch?

That's long been my beef against Dodge trucks .... the interiors were 20 years old even when they were brand new.

I could definatley see myself buying a Power Wagon if they've finally made an interior that's on par with Chevrolet and Ford.

Since I never take my personal trucks off-road (got work trucks or 4-wheelers or dirt bikes for that), I don't have to worry as much about a Dodge rattleing itself apart on me
