I have a friend he rides a 10 D800 163 all stock it has 1100 miles the sled has run flawless till last monday. He was having a bogging at wot he would back off and hit it again it would be fine for a couple sec and then bog.
As of tonight i have checked compression both side's 120 valve's cleaned boot's were good checked tps looked at reeds look good piston, rings and cyclinder's look great. so we started it warmed it up lifted the back end and run in the shop it will run just fine but when you hit the throttle it just don't have the snap that it should have and watching the tack at about 7900 you can hear it bog down i am at a loss .

Last ride mine had a random bog-I'm hoping bad fuel going to drain tank and put fresh fuel in. I bought fuel from a different store and as soon as I did I started having problems.

Keep my fingers crossed!

I have an 09 d8 with the fix kit that started having the same problem two rides ago. Checked out all the things you did with the same result. Feels like im riding a 600. Im wondering if its a clutch issue?

I am not sure about the fuel we filled 6 sled's out of the same pump and nozzle at the same time 5 of them great his don't I will look at his clutches but not sure slp went threw them at the beginning of the season. but i will check.

I had a similar issue on my 05 900 rmk. It turned out to be the power valve solenoid was not closing off, allowing the valves to snap open. I plugged them with vacuum caps and zip ties and all was good. Check it out, unless he already has them plugged off.

Just a thought.

Well as of yesterday we replaced the plugs and run it in the shop little better then i pinched off the ves valve hose with some pliers and that made a difference. The bottom end is good power but on top it dont have the snap i have not checked fuel presure yet. I am starting to think he has got some bad fuel he went riding on monday and told me where he got the fuel and that said enough. He is going to drain the fuel out today and put some fresh in it and we will ride next saturday and see how it will run.

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP AND THE INPUT.. :hail:
