my 2010 crossfire 8 started missing and and coughing when a wide open or close to then would sometimes die completely out not starting for a couple minutes...played with the throttle switch and didnt change anything any ideas would help.....

Frostbite was posting about a similar problem with his 09 M8 with full SLP pipe.
They found that the injector wires were rubbing on the bottom of the Y-pipe heat sheild just about the fuel rail and the wires were grounding out and shutting the sled down.

I HAD THE EXZACT SAME PROBLEM. DEALER FOUND THE WIRES COMING OUT OF THE SERVO MOTOR HAD RUBBED THROUGH ON ALUMINUM BRACKET. IT WAS THE ORANGE WIRE AND WOULD GROUND OUT WHEN POWER VALVES WOULD OPEN. TOOK THE DEALER DAYS TO FIND THE PROBLEM. THEY WERE MISS ROUTED FROM THE FACTORY. CHECK IT OUT. MINE IS A 2010 HCR BUT I WOULD EXPECT THE SERVOS TO BE IN THE SAME SPOT. THEY HAD TO REPLACE SERVO MOTOR AND ECU. HOPE THIS HELPS.

was definatily the wire coming out of the servo motor thanks for all the help
