I need to make some refinements to the clutching on my 2010 M8 SP.
Here at home we are at 1300' and we typically ride the Snowies or Big Horns.
I was thinking about getting a set of 65-75g Cutler adjustable weights. If the specs are right, I should be able to use the same weights here at home and then just adjust them on the hill for what I need.
I will probably buy the AC recommended cam for riding here at home. Is there a better cam for riding in the 6-10000' elevations than stock? How about the rollers? I see half are steel and half are poly.
What are you guys doing as far as primary springs? I see some are putting a shim betwen the spring and the inside of the clutch. Right thing to do? I'd like a little lower engagement. It can get pretty jumpy when trying to maneuver at slow speeds.
Lastly, where should I set the belt deflection? My belt seems pretty loose and sits about flush with the driven clutch.
