2010 800 RMK Limiter Straps Position.

I have a 2010 800 RMK 155 and set the limiter straps to the lowest position. A service tech at my dealer said that I could reverse roll my shock mount pivot into the track!!!

The service manual says set the straps to lowest position for powder.

Has anyone lowered their limiter straps to the lowest position? I am nervous about causing damage now.

Thanks for the help,

Idaho Bill

I just lowered mine from the top to the middle position. I bought mine with the strap at the top and it had to much ski pressure for powder. I think I would not move you shock until you try the new strap position and see how you like it. One position made a difference on mine. Hope that helps.

I have my front shock in the lay down position and my straps in the middle position ,I also have done the fastrax rear scissor mod , real happy with the way shes working :D:D no deep snow tho because of all the:rain:

I love my 09 D8 set up with the front track shock rolled forward(layed down) to lowest setting, and the limiter in the middle. It jumps up on top quick in the pow, pulls the skies up just enough on climbs. Try it.
