2010 800 HO not grabbing full rpm right out of the hole

My 2010 cf800 le with the 2.25 powerclaw track doesn't grab full rpm's when I grab WOT right out of the hole or from very slow speeds.

It still grabs close to 8050-8100, but if I let off and hammer on it again it grabs 8250 a pulls much harder.

What's the problem? Primary spring bind?

Or are the 60/60 gears a bit to tall? I don't think they are. Out west I was pulling 8250-8300 on a big climb with great track speeds. Didn't blow any belts yet. 470 mountain miles. Cords are starting to come off it

It does seem to load up when it's at idle. When I start it in the morning I Can hardly get it off the trailer without lifting the back and burning the fuel out of it. I can't see the oil pump sticking. Maybe just to rich with the oil...I haven't checked it yet.

Maybe to much helix off the start? 44/40.

Only mod is a shift assist in the secondary.

hey destroyer i was out west with u i was riding the hcr and what are u running for clutch weights do u got prairie weights in cause i know when i got home i never changed back to prairie weights mine are 71 grams and my clutch just spun and never grabbed the belt at all and hit the rev limiter and i let go of the throttle and punched er again and she finally grabbed. also you really cant start the new ones cold and try and drive them they just sputter bad and wont move without proper warming is what mine seems like i also broke my primary at 250 miles

Hey man...nope the bushing in the moveable sheeve is toast. New primary under warranty. I run the 060 belts on mine with 67 grams at low ele and 63 at 6000-9000. I'm geared a little taller than you as well. I've spent countless hours clutching my ski-doos. This is my first year on a cat. These 2010's are pretty close with the clutching man. I'm really impressed.

Mine Over revs a bit and the engagement is a bit high. I don't mind the engagement though I'm used to it already. I'm going to try the yellow white spring and those glide washers from thunder products. Guys are claiming it brings the R's down a bit. I might try the orange white as well, but guys saying the rpm's aren't consistant. I'll find out for myself.

Hey, My brother hasn't been working so he shoveled up a 90' kicker in his spare time. We got lots of fresh snow. You should come ride it before we kick the **** out of it. lol.
