How much faster is the 800 than the 600? What are the top speeds of both sleds?

Thanks.

its not so much that the 800 is faster..it just gets there a whole lot quicker...my son has an 08 600 rmk 155 and I have an 08 800 dragon 163...on hard pack they are pretty close(8 gets the 6 by at least 2 lengths everytime)as soon as it gets soft there is no comparison,,the 8 walks all over the 6 as it should..

There are other considerations as well...

Everything else the same... the 600 will feel more nimble and easy to throw around... the 6mm shorter stroke and less reciprocating mass add less gyroscopic effect to the sled.

Unless you are a big guy... I'd look deeper into the comparison since you are keeping the decision in the 144" length.

IMO... in a 144" x 2" lug... the 600 would have more "Fun Factor" than the 800...for me.

Knowing what is out there with the current 800, if I was to buy today and didn't have the choice of the 700 mill I would opt for the 600. Just more fun, lighter weight, more reliable over the years, less insurance, less cost, more money for mods, less fuel used etc. etc.

If you are into thumping your chest because of the numbers thing then the 800 would be the way to go but otherwise I don't see the need for it.
