2009 Track Change Help

Changing out the track on my 2009 HCR.

I have the suspension out, the caliper split, the "special" nut off and am not sure how to proceed. I see in the parts fiche that there is a bolt that is in the shaft on the brake side. If I take it out how do I get the damn track out?

Thank you in advance for your help.

track swap

there is a bolt inside of the drive shaft, uses a 5/8" socket with really long extension, then slide the shaft toward the brake side.

Like the above said. You'll need an extension with a 5/8 socket. You don't need to remove the nut or caliper, just the 1/2 nuts that hold it in place. After you removed the bolt that attaches the driveshaft to the DD you will be able to angle the saft downward and pull the track out. It works best when the sled is on its right side. It will be a tight fit so take a beer brake in between tracks. Goodluck!!
