2009 RMK 700 + Power commander 5

From what I understand the Power Commander was mostly popular with the 800cfi. It is the fix for the mid-range lean spot as well as the rich top end. As far as I know the 700cfi doesnt suffer these issues. If you're going to modify the 700 then I could see using one. Any how thats my .02

Yup.

At low elevations, a PC 5 is definitely useful to clean up WOT fueling, get rid of the cold hee-haws and one silly spot at about 3/4 throttle and 7xxx rpms.

At high altitude, I'm still on the fence. Without connecting the premium wires, you can use a PC5 or PC III and make some gains. After connecting the wires, it's not so clear as to its benefits. I'll be playing with the PC 5/700 some more this winter and see how consistent I can get the tune.
