2009 rmk 700 155 should i get fox float 2 for it

have you ever p\out fox float 2 on a 2009 rmk 700 155 and if so do you think it is a good idea?

Front or Rear or both? do you currently have the Walker Evans Air or the Ryde FX's??

I installed the Carls Valved Fox Floats on my sled and like them. The rear skid shock set they sell is the real deal IMO. They are a better shock than stock but the money that goes out for them sure stings not having anymore. Would I doo it again...yes.

If you can afford the swap over it's a great idea! There is a huge felt improvement over either the sprung ryde stockers or the walker airs depending on your model. You have a bunch of proven high performance options on your buggy. The level of benefit almost directly relates to the money you can spend when it comes to FOX Racing Shox systems. (I don't have personal riding experience on all the other brand options enough to comment...have ridden lots of them though in brief tests on other peoples sleds but not to the extent of having the option to manipulate them). I do have extensive experience on all of the FOX offerings on sleds just like yours.

go online to Carls Cycle Sales and look at their complete combinations of shocks for your sled. Lot's to chose from and many options.

I went the Fox Float2 route and did not like them on my 09 D8 163. I went to coil-spring shocks, ZBros Exit X0. These are perhaps a little over kill for most riders, me included, but they are great. Other coilover's to consider are Carl's custom Fox Zero Pro's and Walker Evans Needles from Tri-City Polaris (TCP). I like the feel of the coilover better than the air shock. I really comes down to the feel you like best and the cost you are willing to pay for the shock. Good luck with your purchase.

went with the float 2's on my 10 800 rmk. I also removed the sway bar and am running 80 psi in them. I love them. They ride so smooth and soak up the bumps on the trail.

Just put a set of Fox float2 shocks on my 2010 dragon and removed the swaybar....running 70psi for now.

IMO this is the best mod I have ever done to a sled considering price to, it was like an all new sled to ride!

One thing is for sure, those walker evans shocks ruins the front end on theese sleds!

Go for it, you wont regret it, at least I dont:)

I've had quite a few of the shock options out there on my last few sleds. Hands down the Z-Bro's shocks outperformed all others. Low speed ride quality was night and day better than my floats (Carls Setup) the shocks are extremely forgiving and have a progesive rate, they just feel like they will never bottom out. Spend the extra $$$ and get the Z-Bro's Exit shocks.
