2009 Polaris 600 Engine??

Would like to know if the polaris 600 engines more reliable than the 800 engines? Any info would be appreciated.

They can have their issues like anything else, but I believe overall they are a bit more reliable than the 800. I own 2 for that reason.

Arguably one of the most reliable mills out there. Like previous post says, anything can have a problem, but I can't make a list of issues with the 600 that 7 out of 10 people would all agree on like the 800

I have been riding a 600 for the last 3 seasons with the modifications in my signature. I have been ANYTHING but easy on it to keep up with everyone else I ride with on longer 800's. I did pistons and cylinders at 1800 and again at 3800, mostly because of the way the sled is ridden. I also had a leaky oil pump that cause the first and possible even the second loss in compression before it was changed. Regardless I have had a good time on my 600 the last 3 seasons!

I have an '08 600 155 for my girlfriend. It's old reliable. I love it for that.
