2009 Nitro

My Brother is thinking of going to a 2009 Nitro and wanted to hear what people on this forum had to say about them. His current sled is a 2006 Skidoo Summit 800. He is worried about the weight and starting of the line.

Any insight?

Keep the Doo. I rode a Nytro once for about 5 min. and that was enough for me! some people like them some don't. Tell him to rent one and see what he thinks of it then.

there are only two reasons to get a nytro...1 Turbo, 2 Trailrider

3 Tired of riding a glorified chain saw. :D
J/K-they are heavy but it is nice to be able to put the hammer down all day long season after season and not worry about blowing the thing up.
They really need a lightweight rear suspension (Timbersled, K-Mod) and a Challenger Extreme 2.5 to play on the same hills as an 800. Figure spending about $2000 and you will be good to go.
