Word on the street says ....

Just how good is this word? Is there anything from any of the mfg's that say they are doing this or that this schedule is confirmed. I don't want to take a day off to find out this is just a rumor.

not really, most of these shows have had the big 4 showing up for years... i dont see it as a big deal, more likely that each thinks theirs is so much better they are not afraid to put it on the floor right next to the others...

Last year they had 3 of the 4 here in minneapolis, I just wonder now if all 4 are here and being that its at the convention center if they are gonna charge us 10 bucks to see them, wouldn't suprise me. Kinda strange that all 4 will be shown in Minneapolis before the western states, with Polaris's great snow check program for us flatlanders you think they would have had them out there for you guys long before us......

Those dates and locations are correct. Any show with only one date will run from 4-9pm. Locations with multiple dates are TBD for times. Check those locations websites for more details as they should be promoting them in your local areas as the date of your show get closer.

I'm told Yamaha won't be joining the party this year in Minneapolis due to some conflict with their dealer meeting.

there are a few reasons:

a) joint shows draw larger numbers with hopes to grow attendance
b) the manufactures do save money by splitting advertising and venue costs
c) most importantly, they have an opportunuty to lure each others customers to show what they have to offer over the competing brands.

so not only does it seem good for the manufacturers but I also think it's good for the consumer.
