I replaced my 2006 stock M-sled post & 4 inch Ole's riser with a Chrome-Moly Fastlane post, built with 4" rise and 15-degree bend. Saves weight and is supposedly stronger - a nice addition. But I notice lots of flex in this new CroMo post which might be a distraction to some.
I also have LOTS of flex in the stock 'hoop' part of the CAT frame that supports the upper steering post bushings... Seems far too wimpy, especially with the extra leverage that a riser provides. I'm considering adding some reinforcement or maybe replacing the whole deal with a beefier structure.
Anybody else with the same issue?
