What do you guys all set your front shocks at? Also, how do you all have your rear skid set up?? Im probably 160 to 170 all dressed up and ready to ride. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

65-75 psi in the front is a good starting point.

I did not run the 8 last year, but on my M1000 I ran about 110 psi in the rear shock.

I am about 240lbs in riding gear.

I have an 09 M8 as well. I tried the higher pressures and the shocks just didn't seem to move much at all. I weight about 170 without gear and ended up dropping pressures until I could actually feel the shocks move. I liked 53 PSI in the left front shock, 50 PSI in the right front shock and 105 PSI in the rear.

With those pressures the shocks actually rode fairly well.

Soooooo, at what outside temp? That'll make a big difference from the garage to the snopark to 4500ft? Just curious.

Thats without a re-valve and no air canisters right Frosty? I had Andy Youngstrom (GSR) re-valve my shocks and I have Fett Bro's canisters. We had enough snow to ride last weekend, I'm liking Rt Front 70lbs, Left Front 73. Rear 115. Pump them up elevated (on a jack or stand or hoist) I weigh in at 175 fully geared up.

777 - those were pressures in my shop.

Shredjim, yup those were my pressures from last season. I have yet to try them since the Andy Youngstrom revalve. I haven't had the funds to get the Fett Brother's cannisters yet. Your weight is the about the same as me (maybe a little less).

How do you like the revalving and the Fett Brother's cannisters. Can you feel the shocks stroking better? Should I skip buying the cannisters?

i just had holz re valve all around w/ the fett bros cans on all 3 floats
i am 175 w/o gear and so far i like 55/ 52 fr. and 100 rear.

These pressures are more like it, on another post guy's were runninh 100lb in the fronts and 150 in the rear. Can you say stiff. I tried 55 in the fronts on the 2010 first ride going to try 60 and tried 125 in rear and going to try 115 and I weigh about 170lb.
