I was riding the bighorns this weekend and bent both of my rails on my M8, it is a 153 but I was thinking since I need new rails I might put the 162 rails on and get a new track also. Does anyone know if I could need anything else to make this work. Shouldn't I just be able to mount the 162in rails in place of the 153in. Thanks for the help.

the new tunnels are already pretty short for their track length, I'm not sure if you'd have to swap rear tunnel sections also or not.

I would say you would need a new rear tunnel section. Also how did you bend your 153's? I would think that if you could bend a set of 153's with your riding style then wouldn't you bend a set of 162's pretty easily?

Well first of all I might sell my track, because I am thinking about getting a tunnel extension and turning it into a 162 M8.
We were riding behind Bear when it happened. I launched off a rock cliff about 25 or 30 feet in the air, and as soon as I was in the air I noticed a stump that was hidden from the front side of the cliff. And wouldn't you know it, I was headed straight for it when I was landing and my "air brakes" wouldn't work.
Good thing my buddy had a little sled that we hooked to the track and towed me back to the trailer. Good friends are hard to find!

get a bumper extension from ve they are super strong and bad @$$ i did the same thing and got the power claw and 09 rails

I didn't want a 162, I am not even sure I would convert it to a 162. I thought I would just ask the question. I am really happy with the 153, I go anywhere my friends go with the same sled on the 162 skid. I think I hold better R's with the shorter track.
