Does anyone have dyno results for a 2009 M8 and M1000 stock eng. A 2008 would be good also. I have been told the 08 has a lot more than the 07.

My guess is if it had more horse power AC would have said something. I doubt that is something they would keep that from there consumers.
The only change to the engines for 09 was the engine reverse. The lighter 1-ply track, however, is supposed to make it FEEL like there are 10 more hp. Other than the lighter weight making it feel like more power, there is no power increase.
There is also different ECU programming which can increase power in certain areas of the powerband, so yes it could feel more powerful by the change in the ecu program alone. The 08's ran better because of much better clutching and a change in the ecu program.
Depending on who's dyno, the corrected max numbers I've seen posted are: M-8 from 140+ to 148. AC says 142 for 07 145 for 08.
M-1000 from 161 to 171. AC says 162+
Dynos can be made to lie, especially if you're selling aftermarket parts off one.
As stated above, If AC was making more HP they would surely post it. Go with their very realistic numbers for honest corrected sea level HP.
