Can anybody tell me how good this boondocker pg kit works or any other one,is it dependable,do you have to be tuning all the time etc.Any info would be appreciated.

I just came across a 2010 M1000 pump gas turbo and am very impressed with it. I'm running a 50/50 race gas mix in it and running 10 lbs of boost with no issues thus far. Been out 3 times on it. There was a learning curve to using the EBC controller but Once I got a handle on that it's been all good. I heard BD has an even better controller now that is a little more user friendly. It is a very noticeable difference over a N/A 1000...:first:

I run a 2009 m1000 boondocker pump gas kit on 100 ll 8to 10 lbs boost . Can't really call it pump gas:face-icon-small-hap it has been for the most part a good sled . very fast The down side is motor mounts , belts and reed's. But easy to keep in tune.

I heard the 2010's had a different spec on the clutching that is supposed to really help out on belt life... Hope this turns out to be true. I've got 3 rides on this belt so far which is already an improvement over my 07 1000. What kind of reed problems were you having?

2009 36/46 p 2010 36/46 cr I have ran many diffrent combo's and extra mounts high hp means belt heat !!! High boost kills reed life 500 miles or so and a couple motor around that time as well . I ride in west coast snow it is wet and heavy .

I was referring to clutch offset. I think 2010 specs put the secondary in further. I dont think my old alignment tool is good for the 2010... Not sure yet. I just heard about it this week. Heard it from a good source though.

On the m8 they change the secondary specs i dont no about 2010 m1000 i dont think they changed specs in 2011 they did.I run the secondary in on my 2008 and 2009 it helps . Shimed motor mount plate to move offset in

I had a pump gas Twisted M1000 that ran flawless all the time, very little tuning and very dependable, ran 6-8lbs most of the time
