2009 M1000 OVS turbo tuning and tips

Just bought a really clean m1000 with a race gas OVS setup on it. IT has the Tial gt3076r turbo and the pure logic box. Looking for any helpful tuning tips as this is my first turbo sled.

What octane is good for what boost levels? I ride between 7-11k feet.

What AFR numbers should I be seeing on the gauge?

How should the sled react when cobbed from a dead stop? obviously its going to have some lag but is sputtering normal?

Is AV gas a decent fuel to run?

My advice would be to ditch the Pure Logic Box and try to find a Boondocker box for it. I don't know if they still offer them. The problem with the Pure Logic, and any Dobeck-based box, is that they can't subtract fuel, only add it. To compensate for being overly rich off the bottom, you then have to lower fuel pressure. A Boondocker box can subtract fuel and has many more tuning options. Not as simple to use, but far more capable. I could never get my TM1000 to run right until I switched to a Boondocker box. I even live near the Dobeck HQ and went tuning with one of their techs. He hooked up his computer, made changes on the hill, and still couldn't ever get it to run clean.

Boondocker doesn’t make them boxes any more. I geuss I could see if a few of the old guys in my town have some rat holed. How did yours act off the bottom with the PL box
