The M series demo tour sleds will be available for test rides at the Baker shootout on April 5th. The demo will be hosted by Rick Estey from Arctic Cat and Mt. Baker Moto-Sports out of Bellingham. This will be a great chance for those who are intersted to try the new 2009 mountain models. :)

Yup, they're fun sleds! :D

We spent half a day on the demos with Rick last weekend all I can say is, it's a good thing I left MY checkbook at home!!

Glad to hear he's bringing the sleds to the Baker ride. Can't wait to get back on those purdy things! :D:D

ReTodd - bring your wife up. She'll be in LOVE! :p

Hmmm....Cool ....The Cats are great sleds and many of us club members ride them- It's news to me and the club though.

Hopefully they will be as supportive as Steel Dreams always is and aren't just there to piggy back on our event and efforts.

Looking foward to very successful day on the hill.

Kinda sounds like a Piggy Back to me--If they wanted to be supportive like STEEL DREAMS--They would contact you to help out!!

Can you say--"FREEBIE"

I sure hope the step up--That would be more like something the Snowhawk yahoo would do:mad: Crap like that pisses me off!!!

You are mistaken. Rick was bringing the sleds to Bellingham for a two day ride. He asked if we would be willing come to Schreibers for one day so more people could see and ride the sleds since there is no Arctic Cat dealer in the area. We agreed. After hearing that we should help out the club we are looking into it. Make no mistake we are not trying to piggyback on anything. We were concerned about coming because of the amount of people and sleds we hear attend but agreed to do one day of our designated demo in the Burlington/Mt. Vernon area.

If I am mistaken--Then I apoligize---But we will see if the support shows up for the club--The exposure for AC would be huge because of the event that the "NWGC" is putting on for all to enjoy.
You have to admit it looks/looked a bit fishy on the timing to show up at Baker:cool:

Hope to see your banners flying and support provided for the Baker Shootout.:) Lets see if AC can match Steel Dreams/Ski Doo support?

Thanks. We were just asked to do this on Tuesday. We didn't know exactly what the event is or who puts it on but since we were asked to do one day of the demo there we said yes. We are always more than willing to help support clubs and events. We are very involved in our local club both motorcycle and snowmobile. We have been trying to get the sleds here since we left the dealer show these were the only days available and its near the end of the tour so hopefully the sleds won't be too hammered.

Best case scenario is that all four manufacturers support this event. Lets make it the Northwest snowmobile expo. That being said, I do hope that the other manufacturers choose to support the NWGC and all of their efforts to grow our sport. It seems that we may have a problem acquiring the Ski-Doo demo truck for this event as it sits. There is still a possibility, but I cannot promise anything. Steel Dreams saw the turnout from last year, and agreed to help sponsor the event. The main priority was to offset the costs of NWGC so they could concentrate on procurement of funds to continue their improvement of the Baker area trail and parking system. I would hope that other local dealers/manufacturers are as generous. The more support they receive, the more the club can concentrate on what they do best. Growing and protecting our sport!

I've since recieved a PM from these guys and it sounds legit. I agree about getting support from all the other manufacturers and local dealerships. These guys are our most local Cat dealer and we welcome them to our event.

Dan here at Skagit Polaris has also been very supportive of our club for many years.

Last thing I want to do is put a negative spin on this so let's try not to.

Pulling this event f in this kind of area is not an easy task. We need everyones help.

This is going to be a good time;)..he he he April 5th!!!

Cheers to Mt. Baker Motorsports for coming up and doing it the right way. Since I bought my M sled this year they have been my dealer. They have been absolutely great to work with and I am glad to see them up there. Since Steel Dreams dropped the AC line there have been several members using Mt. Baker and I have only heard good things.

I'm looking forward to it and see you on the hill.

Thanks guys! we put in a 110% all the time and it's not easy. We always try to do the right thing. Looking forward to meeting you.:)

It is great to see the support growing for this event--Glad to see MBMS step up to the plate;)

AJ/Mr Prez---How about a SAWS donation jug at the Barbeque as well???

Glad to see the support growing for our sport and shops coming together to help promote the sport.

Awesome--We look forward to seeing ya all up there for the FUN of it all!!

1st off. The club is collecting donations. The club will donate a significant portion to SAWS.

2nd. I hope that Mt Baker Motorsports gets with AJ and Mike (mr. Prez) and figure out their level of paticipation. Steel Dreams has been a huge supporter of our club and is helping us big time with this event. Hence, They will be front and center.

3rd. This is going to be a ton of fun!
