2009 End of Season Ski Cooper Ride!
April 4th, 2009

Come ride Ski Cooper and Chicago Ridge as our last club ride of the year. We will be able to blast up the ski hill (ski resort will be closed) and ride all the ski trails at will.

Food for Members
Dirt Bike/Snow Conversion Demo for Members

Drag Racing
Hill Climbing (Chicago Ridge)
Sled Swap
Family Ride Areas

For more info go to www.holycrosspowderhounds.com

Please snow and stay cold and snow some more, please, please, please! Wife and kids are leaving for spring break and I FINALLY have some hall passes:D

Thanks for posting Snowmobile6.

With all the snow we recently got, this is going to be a blast. The hill climbing should be great.

We are going to provide food for our members, but haven't decided how we will be doing this. The Leadville club will be up there too and we might try to do something with them. This is always one of our best rides.

Here is some more information. Let me know if you have questions.

Id love to join you guys, but im not a member. Also, can you ride the ski area anytime after they close, or just that one day? I heard chicago ridge is awesome for snowboardin.

Hoping to make it this year.Remember you guys had a ride up there last year but that 4 letter word got in the way(WORK):(
What time, park in ski area lot or how do you access it?
Pete

Has anyone ever dropped down to Cooper from the Climax (east) side?? I have seen the snow cats from Cooper on top of the ridge looking east and that is a pretty easy climb. I have gone over the ridge farther north into some nice bowls, but wasn't sure how to get to Cooper?

Is this open to all or just club members? If just club, can we still join for this year or, or join for the day or something? Thanks!

Hey guys, you can come join the fun if you are not a member. However, the food is just for the members (member perk!). We will probably charge some small amount for non-members. No pressure to be a member, but we would love to have you join up for next year. $35 and that includes membership to CSA. Plus, you membership helps with our cause in the snowmobile world!

TPT Racing will have their converted Snow Dirt Bikes at Ski Cooper for demos as well. I think he is bringing a KTM 450 and Kawasaki 450.

Anyone????

I have not, but I'm sure you can. I think that area is called Chalk Falls? The Leadville club grooms that area, but not sure how close the trail is to Climax.

this hit the second page so it's time to bring it back to the front

Als I'm going to try and make it, plan on joining the club too.
