2009 Dragon- need advice on 800 big block install

Hello,

I just bought a (white) 2009 Dragon 155 with a blown motor for 1500.00. After market venting, bumpers and powder pro skis. Track needs to be replaced). I think I did ok. Great summer project. I am going to install my 2003 800 EDGE RMK big block into this sled.

Has anyone here done this? I'm looking for advice on the following issues.

1. SLP makes a pipe / can kit, I'm told will work.

2. Power Addiction makes the motor mounting plate.

Plan on using: 1. 2002 wiring haress. 2. Fuel Pump.

Issues to solve: 1. Air box 2. Gas Tank feed tube?

Reverse anyone (I do have a 2003 motor also but no reverse). Sure would be nice.

Gas tank / fuel issues, I would look for an 08 or newer fuel tank type setup on ebay for a carb'd sled. Or just order new. I think the 600's were carb in 08 for sure. You prolly don't need the whole tank, just the pickup in the tank and where it comes out the top... check some of the online parts places for the polaris microfiche and you should be able to find the info for a 600 iqraw chassis.

i have a 09 polaris assault with a 98 700 rmk motor used brad motor plate worked perfect and i used the stock gas tank i just unhooked the fuel pump and put 2 hoses wear the pump was and works great i like that motor in that body . all you need for reverse is all the 03 and up 700 electronics and carbs and perc ecu .that iq body got the clutch parts you need

Yes on the clutch parts.

Was the wiring difficult?????

your wiring harness is just missing the wires and bottom for reverse and the light wire to tell you on your tech that its in reverse . it make it easier to get the wiring harness set up for the perc ecu boxes
