The first thing that turned me off was the fact that it doesn't have HID headlamps!!! 2009, and its not even an option.
I've had a 05 and an 07 ram 3500 and the headlamps are the worst on these, looks to be the same for 09.
I can hardly see with mine. They come on bright but 20 seconds in, the grid heater turns on and they dim. I've got HID on my car and love them, and I'm going to end up converting my 07 over with one of the kits. 2009, it should be standard.hahaha. the lights on my '07 are AWESOME compared to what were on my '01. 3rd gen dodge lights are great.but yes, HIDs would be nice.

Plan on keeping it awhile....because the resale within a couple years of Dodge's gas trucks is equivalent to a cheesburger extra value meal. And if Dodge DOES get bought/go banko and is severely downsized, it's gonna be real ugly.
Looks like a nice upgrade and finely a decent looking interior in a Dodge tho.

Not real sure where you're buying cheese burgers but NADA doesn't seem to agree with you. I hear a lot of people say dodges lose value but according to the banks and NADA it's not really true.
Book don't mean $hit these days....I work on a car lot everyday and I'm going by what wholesale buyers will actually put into a truck, if they'll even buy it at all. They all get crucified these days, but the Dodges are the worst (diesel fares a little better, of course). And like I said, who knows what capacity Dodge will exist in a year from now....2006 Dodge 1/2 Ton HEMI NADA $20,500

All the American automakers are in the same situation...if anything, GM is the worst off. At the current rate GM is burning through cash, they would have to file for bankruptcy sometime next summer, and the other 2 would probably be right behind them. The gov. bailout is coming, it has to.Book don't mean $hit these days....I work on a car lot everyday and I'm going by what wholesale buyers will actually put into a truck, if they'll even buy it at all. I'm not doubting it's a decent rig; it has to be if Chryslers wants to make some chedda with it, because the other 1/2 tons are all really nice trucks these days. I just have way to many customers these days trying to trade off 40K+ 2007 pickups that are now worth 20 (or less) and they can't figure out why.BTW, the new Ram won AJAC truck of the year in Canada beating out the new F-150 and was labeled the new benchmark of pickups.
