2009 D8, remove swaybar?

Why would you do that? I'm not being an azz, but the Dragons wallow like a pig already and pulling the sway bar will make it even worse. Unless you are under 175lbs those WE shocks are so lightly sprung that the sled rolls over too easy already.

On the '09 it's easy to try though, just unhook the link at the a-arm.

swaybar

i took mine off and had the shocks pumped up to max, i am 170# and i think they are alittle hard for my weight. i took mine off for side hilling and it has helped me good luck

Just removed mine!

I took mine off on my last trip just to try it. I really like it without, I have always rode w/out one on my previous sleds. You do have to be a little carefull because it will dive occasionally. It really helps when the snow is set up.

i rode mine for less than 8 miles before i cut the sway bar off... it was way better with out the sway bar... other than on the trail you couldnt take a corner at more than 30 mph with out flipping over but who cares about the trail. the W/E's airs arent the best shock to use with no sway bar though... an upgrade to needles or exits is worth the money

I have WE shocks with fabcraft chambers and they were valved for my weight with no sway bar and handles great in the powder but as Jkinzer said be careful going around the corners on the trail.

I didn't remove mine til it removed its self. Snaped around 1600 miles.
2 days later my buddies broke too.
Its tippy on the trail, but were only on the trail for 2-3 miles anyway.
So far we both like it with out the sway bar for our riding style.

what about on an 800 rmk with the fox shocks? looking to maybe try and remove mine to make sidehilling and boondocking a little easier. does it effect anything when jumping?
