2009 D8 check engine light

I took my 2009 D8 for a ride a couple weeks ago and had some problems with it stalling on me at low rpms, i have an after market hood and dont normally have my gauges hooked up. So when i connected the this morning i had the check engine light come on and flash 2 times then a pause for a few seconds and then would repeat. What does this mean? Also last time i rode with gauges they turned themselves off and i had to unplug them, it seemed to help with low rpm shut off. Any help please??

hope this helps with code

The chart I have shows two blinks as:
Engine Coolant Temp Sensor Voltage High or Low
Says to check faulty wire or faulty engine temp sensor. Hope that helps.

Not sureabout your other issues, I am no expert, but it sound like a friends issue when his voltage reg went out. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

My gauge flickered and turned off when my voltage regulator went out. I never had an issue with how it was running but I caught the issue right away
