2009 Assault... Power commander

Is it worth getting a power commander for my 2009 assault? I do 90% of my riding in the mountains and would like to get a little more outa the sled and was just wondering what the best way to go about it would be. Its got a new slp pipe and can on it as well.

Yes. I believe slp says you should run the pcv and their map with their pipe. So i would get one on there.

The Power Commander V will help with the mid-range lean issue helping to drop your overall temps. It will also give you a little more top end power. SLP will have a map for their pipe and can. You can probably order the PC5 from them with the needed map.

yes a night and day differnce i had a stock motor with stock pipe and can and it really woak it up i was exited to try it this year with my new set up butttt i sold it

I picked my PC-V from Dynotech Research. Jim set it all up with the map pre-loaded, all I had to do is plug it in. Dynotech creates a custom map set up for your sled depending on altitude, clutching, pipe, pretty much anything that will effect performance. Excellent customer service for sure!
