2009 assault locked up

i was riding the sled around for a quick rip and i came back to the driveway and it started making a weird noise and came to a slow stop then it died. it won't turn over i try to pull it and it doesn't even budge and the primary won't spin. please help! any suggestions?

did it turn over after it cooled if so piston siezed (new top end) go with fix kit.
if it didnt crank bearing siezed (new motor) by your description i would guess top end. that sucks arent you pose to be going to the mountains?

yeah im supposed to...we took it apart and there is shavings on the top of the piston on the right cylinder and its chipped a little bit on an edge of the piston i think it was a ring it won't turn over! what do you think? i thought about buying the fix kit but that might not have everything i need or does it?

mag cylinder is very common the one that burns down. the fix comes with pistons, base shim, one base gasket and new cylinder bolts. if you have the cylinders off look very closely at the bottom of them in the center of the of the long piece (brain malfunction). it is directly on front and back. right in the middle look for an inch long crack. (hope you dont have one) both sides. if you go with pms kit talk to shawn they are a poo dealer so if you need other gaskets they have em. also how many miles on fuel filter they plug up fast. when you were riding did you hold rpm in midrange for an extended time. good luck with it. it definitely sucks

it was a quick ride so i didn't wait very long (sled was warm already) but it was about a 2 minute long ride

the service guys say 5-10min of down time is worse than running one cold. if i understand it correctly, the coolant in the tunnel gets cold fast and when you restart it cycles back to the engine and cools off the cylinders while the pistons are hot.

don't know if it would have helped here but in the future you may want to watch your temp gauge at every start up. it's strange to watch it drop from 130 to 90 on a warm restart.

2009 motor with the fix kit installed....putting it in tomorrow my whole crank was junk and the piston skirt was f'd up and the head had aluminum melted on the bottom of it and also the connecting rod was just beat to hell! but that new motor will be in and ill be ready for the mountains
