2009 700 rmk not getting fuel??

I have a 2009 700 RMK that is not getting fuel. It started 2 times for a second and then died. Also broke the rope. Where do I start to check for fuel? It's getting spark and has enough compression to start so I'm assuming fuel problem. Thanks in advance.

You could check the fuel pump by putting a 12v battery onto the fuel pump prime plug. You should be able to hear it start.
