2009 600 Shift problems??

Hey guys. Looking for some input. Looking at a 2009 600 Shift RMK 144" for the wife. i have a buddy that has a 2009 600 shift 136" and had alot of issues with it. i see they ran a CFI-2 injector system on these sleds. I think that's where the issues were coming from?? I see they also ran the P2 secondary. Maybe something there?? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! oh by the way, i talked to my local dealer and he said that was a one year engine setup. any truth to that and why??

People say alot of things...the '09 shift 600 144 is one of the funnest snowmobiles ever made! Good sled.

I ride a 09 Shift 600 144 and have the time of my life on it. I have had it since new and have never had a problem with it. It will run strong all day long. I know that all motors have problems, but I have never heard of the 600 having issues.

I purchased one after talking with several rental companies. They all said the 600 was boom proof and one had a sled there that had 8000+ miles and that the 09 was great. The CFI2 is what the 800 and 600 have this year. With all that said, the one I purchased had 3000 miles and at 3200 I lost a cylinder. still like the sled, but hoping for some trouble free miles now.
