I went for a day ride last Sunday to Quartz with orion.
His new sled had a few hiccups but through most of the day ran good.

Met up with Pistonbroke & Sledpiggy, his Apex ran and sounded excellent,I hope to ride with them again.Real sledders at heart.
I can,t believe how fast a place can get rode out,but it was a nice day ride.

I learned my new Black Diamond rear bumper can be used for towing.
My sled ran flawlessly, I love all my new mods.I didn't take many pics because when the sun came out we rode.

I am planning on going to Revy Dec 5 - 6 weekend. PM me if you want to hook up.

Dave

We were in there on mon and tues and we drove up about 7 km on the kirkup trail as there wasn't any snow down low. Once we got on top the powder was great and there wasn't a track in it all the way to turbo

Looks like we`ll be dealing with just the gravel trucks Fri. and I think they won`t be working on the wknd. now that they see how many of us are here for the wknd. already.
We are holding traffic back and sending you up in groups when we know the coast is clear. Please be patient.
There will be someone :D managing parking at the 4 km. We have got some snow lower down today. We are asking that you don`t try to drive up further than the 4 km. because then we`ll have sleds and vehicles travelling together, not safe.
I have also been asked to ask you all to slow down when you are travelling on the forest service rds. on your way up and down.
Logging and rock hauling should be finished next wk.
We can only accept vehicles to our parking capacity, once parking areas are full we will ask you to enjoy one of our other riding areas for the day. Sorry!!!!!!!!!

"Crown Land" is actually owned by the Queen of England and it is a privlage for us to be able to access it.
Sorry Dave ;) couldn`t help it.

Don`t forget the Boost 4/Thunderstruck 8 showing at the Riverside Pub @ the Regent Inn Sat. 7:30p.m. Bring items for the Revy Food Bank, this enters you to win draw prizes.
The Revelstoke Snowmobile Club and Snowmbile Revelstoke Society with the help of Barb and Greg at Rough Country have donated an Ortovox pack, beacon, shovel and probe that will be auctioned off later in the evening.
The Canadian Avalanche Centre will be doing a short presentation between the shows.
All monies raised during the auction will be donated to the CAC.

I'll tell ya.

The snow is unbelievable! lots and LOTS of snow but the few dips as normally expected feeel free to fall in if you are foolish.

Roads are as good as expected, but I think you should bring your rock skis for the first k or so.

Well worth the sacrafice. Yaa

I think I rode with everyone with the 4m ride, kinda lost some along the way, and found some new too. LoL

It;s all awesome in REVY!!

I think a little religion is always a good thing.....I mean

I pray for snow, I worship Revelstoke, Boulder and Frisby, And Im always on the lookout for a Virgin by the name of Mary....

Ok, Im kidding, but I did stay at a Holiday inn once:D

Lots of new snow today. Staging from the lower parking lots. Visibility sucked which led to my rev being left in a precarious spot. Someone go get it for me...I'm tired from walking out.
