Ah Crap! Not again. I plan on taking an avy course this year and getting the beacons. Really want to get to Revy and Sicamous but also really want to be prepared. Lets just make an agreement between all Snowesters that we "promise to be a little more careful" this year! All those avy threads really sucked AZZ last season.

I took the ast level 1, two years ago. Good course indeed. A lot of reiteration of what I already know, but puts it all together for you in a nice weekend course. Highly recommend spending the 250 bucks on it!!! Plus the gear you need to take the course, beacon, probe, shovel. You should have that stuff anyways though.
