Where is the best place to mount a shovel as where I ride it is not necessary to use a back pack?

I noticed Madmax had his handle next to the can and the shovel head strapped to his jery can.....i need to do this, as removing my pack every stuck sucks

I'm guessing Madmax used someones kit???

Best place for your shovel is always on your body. If there's an avy and you're seperated from your sled, you are useless without probe and/or shovel. Don't kill your buddy over a minor inconvenience.

i always have one in my backpack, but I really like have a Giant snow shovel tied to the sled, It takes 5 scoops instead of 20 scoops to get unstuck.
