thanks for any info be great

Check out the "Increase Your IQ" sticky at the top of the forum, just about everything you need to know. Oh, and there isn't a radiator up front of your 600....just a big empty hole.

ok good to know barley even got to look it over wheres is the cooler then on these sleds?
i just noticed off skinz where says needed rad relocate figured be the 750 fst rad be there

The entire top of your tunnel is the main cooler and there is a small one along the front edge of the tunnel where the track goes around the drivers (you have coolers, no radiator). The radiator was only on the '05/'06 900's and the '06 755 that was located in that front bulkhead area.

The 600 is a great running machine and a super dependable engine. It gets up on the snow and carves nicely. For me it was like the power wasn't huge to where it would dig a trench, it just got up on the snow and went.

Seriously check out the Increase Your IQ sticky, lots of freebies and basic things to do to make your sled even better. Like plugging the vent hole in the intake air box in your hood and relocate it about an inch to keep moisture from dripping into the right side exhaust valve and rusting the spring out (speaking of exhaust valve springs, replace them). Or sealing up the void around your headlight to keep the powder out of your intake and causing a slight engine miss. Years of help in there!

I have the same sled but only in a 144 carbed version. I added the SLP intake kits and drilled a couple extra holes for the SLP instakes screens as well.

I did a SLP can and the sled runs great with the proper clutching for the elevation you ride in.

The best bang for the buck if your really looking for more power would be a 660 kit. Some buy them from folks like Carls or some just do their own. If you choose to do it yourself you can get into one fairly cheap. I am not sure what you need for the CFI end of it because mine is a carbed version so never looked into it.

My 2007 switchback 600 CFI had a front radiator. I HATED it! It worked well on trail but the movement you went off trail, it would pack full of snow, melt, freeze, and become an ice cube offering 0 cooling capability.

I would check if you have a front radiator... Not positive what year they stopped but my '09 dragon RMK did not have one.

If you have a radiator, look into a product called Frog Skinz and put it over the front of the holes in the plastic to keep snow out. This keeps the radiator space free of snow and will run cooler.
