2008 m8 hard or slow to start!

I have a 08 M8 that wont start pulling the rope normally. if you pull really hard it will start and is better after sitting awhile. its at the a/c dealer right now and their not sure what the problem is possibly a stator? anybody had this problem? it usually starts on the third pull cold or first pull hot. any advise would be appreciated.

Is th idle rpm set real low? Mine never starts on the first pull if it sits overnight most of the time 2-4 pulls, when ridden it 1-2 pulls. When you get your sled back see what your idle rpm is, I raised mine up to about 1900 maybe 2000 to help get rid of the bad idle shake that chafes all the wires. My sled is the 07 M8 with 08 ECU flash.

i dont think its the stator

like buddy said before they dont start the first pul i know mine does't and i have a 08 m8. and i don't think its the stator cause mine is in at a/c right now and form what they tell me is if your stator is gone your sled does not start at all

Its not a idle issue, It wont start at all even if you give it a little throttle or alot. It acts like its not getting fuel or spark but can see a weak spark when plug is pulled. I bought this sled new and its definately doing something different. The only way it would start is to yank on the rope as hard as you can if your lucky it will start. Thanks for the input.

hard starting M8

I have a 1007 M8 that is a bear to pull over in the morning. Had to pull it for 15 minutes on morning to get it started when temp was below zero. Changed plugs and it made a huge difference. Had 1200 miles on the plugs that were in it. No it starts second pull any time, any temp.
