2008 M8 can

I know this has been a topic in the past but I can't find anything in the search area..........I'm looking to loose some weight under the hood on my 2008 M8. And please hold off on the diet remarks! The holidays were rough on me!
I know the stock can is a suit case and thought I'd start there. Whats the best running can out there without getting obnoxious loud? Don't want to get into pipe combo's and boondockers, been there and done that with other mods. Want to stay close to stock and the reliability of the stock M8 and keep some gas money in my pocket! Looking to buy if you have a light weight can at a decent price for an 08 M8. I'm open for ideas guy's.....thanks!

if i am correct the cans on the 08-09 wernt that heavy and you only lose about 4 pounds for $200-$300. not worth it in my opinion. much beter off on light weight intake. my 2 cents

Well that's a good point! I did swap to the 2010 seat (more for the easy rise than weight) so I saved a few pounds there so another 4 pounds would help! But still a good point. If I could find the right can "used" in the 100 to 150 range it may be worth the coin to weight savings????

I saved 9lbs going to a skinz super q on my 08 m8. I also did the 440 snopro intake- everything else is stock and my sled runs really well.

I love the sound of my super Q- it only barks at really high rpm the rest it is close to stock- not bad at all
