2008 Leftover M8

Hi guys, i posted awhile back about picking up a 2007 m8 but after taking a closer look it was in pretty rough condition so i passed.

I have found a New 2008 orange M8 153 for $7600.00 US with taxes and everything and 1 year warranty at a local dealer about 1 hour away.

You guys think this is a good price?

Also since my buddy has an 146 summit XP and i'd like to keep up with him what will it take?

I ride at sea level to 1000 feet mostly in the power lines.

Searched quite a bit about the slp single pipe and would like one except for the extra 500.00 bucks i might need for the boondocker box.

You guys think i can run the pipe without the box?

Surely you can't go wrong with that. New sled. No miles right? Unbelievably killer deals this year on last years holdovers.

Yep brand new 9500.00 Canadian in the box of my truck.2008 M1000 was 1700.00 more.

i paid 8,200 out the door for a 08 m8 sp back in june

Went and bought it this morning.10 grand out the door with handgaurds,oil,extra plugs,gloves and a cap.

Real happy with this deal.Could not resist giving it a couple runs i about an inch of snow in the field.Used of riding 600 cc snowmobile,this thing pulls pretty good.

Ordered the teloscopic riser from the 09,s to put on mine for around 200 bucks.Found that there was a little slack in it but like the option of being able to bring it back down for the trailride to the transmission.

Just going to put on a can for now with some clutch vents and give it a try like that.

Thinking about going for a rumblepack,friend has one on his crossfire 700 and i like the sound.
